Tran Family

Please tell me these aren't the cutest little nuggets you have EVER seen! These boys' parents had a special project they needed some shots for and I loved getting to hang out on campus with the Tran Family. Between the mini OU jerseys, beautiful summer weather, and fun company, this was one of my favorite shoots of the year. Look at that face - I mean, c'mon. Told this little cutie to "smile big" and this the face I got. haha

Alexandria | Arapaho-Butler High School Senior

A few weeks ago, I was working a government camp at OU. Now, I know what you are thinking - "Government camp? That sounds like the worst." I promise, it's really not! I've been volunteering with this camp for several years and I always meet the most wonderful people (and teach some high school students the importance of civic engagement along the way). This year, I met Alexandria! She's from the teeny tiny town of Butler, Oklahoma and I was so excited when, after camp, she reached out for me to take her senior pictures. Even though I've been doing this for a year, I still get a little nervous when people trust me to document their high school experience (eek!). Alexandria was gracious despit

Hannah | Arapaho-Butler High School Senior

Back at it again with a fun senior session in Oklahoma City! I haven't spent much time at the Myriad Gardens, but it is beautiful out there. Hannah was such a champ in the Oklahoma heat (because I was a sweaty mess). I loved getting to hear about life in Arapaho, Oklahoma and share some fun stories with this fun girl. Although we just met, Hannah is one of those people I will remember. She is exuberant, gregarious, and authentic. She is down-to-earth and I think that spirit shines through in her senior portraits. Have the best senior year, Hannah! There's another post coming up in the next few days as well from this joint senior session in OKC. Stay tuned!
